NANOLOT: Grand Cru Dark Chocolate

The most exclusive and limited "Gran Cru" cocoa, sourced from tiny farms that use unique post-harvest methods or isolated genetics, the Nano Lot collection from Naive invites chocolate lovers on a taste adventure in pursuit of the true flavor of cocoa.

The Vraem region features ecological zones that vary in altitude from 400m to 3000m, giving rise to a vast geographical diversity of flora and fauna. Unfortunately, the Vraem is also known for conflicts and illegal activities, such as coca cultivation. In 2017, local farmers came together to seek a legal income alternative through cocoa production. This initiative led to the formation of the Qori Warmi cooperative. "Qori Warmi" means "women are worth gold" in Quechua. A single variety of cocoa has been selected by a family from promising native genetic strains and is now slowly being adopted by other members of the cooperative.
