Ararauna is a lush tropical farm located on the cocoa coast of Bahia, in the Atlantic Forest of Una.
A local association for nature protection has banned illegal logging and sawmills around the Una Biological Reserve. This prompted the Nüscheler family to register 39 hectares as a Private Nature Reserve. In 2000, they supported the birth of the Cabruca cooperative and have been active members ever since.
Today, deeply committed to agroforestry and biodynamic agriculture, they have obtained Demeter certification.
Their cultivation generates fertile ground for tropical fruit trees, fishing palms, banana plants, pepper plants, coffee, and of course cocoa trees!

Fermentation: 7 days, with turning every 24 hours, in wooden boxes
